Deva effectively plumps, brightens and exfoliates the skin while reducing free radicals and hydrating the skin with luxurious shea butter. This potion leaves the skin lustrous, hydrated, and glowing.  Hibiscus plumps the skin, amla brightens and papaya enzymes effectively eat up dead skin cells. These herbs exfoliate and scavenge for free radicals with their extremely high Vitamin C content. Shea butter hydrates and preps the skin for facial oil.  Note that shea butter and grape seed oil are non-comedogenic.

Not for use on very sensitive skin.

This exfoliator is concentrated. A small amount is sufficient for each use. With dry and clean hands, scoop out a dime size amount, add a little water to your hands - just enough to work exfoliator over your face and then gently massage and buff your skin in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly, follow with tonic mist, facial oil, serum and balm. Use 1-3 x per week depending on your skin's needs.

*Do not introduce water to the jar. Use within 12 mths of opening.

Amla or Indian gooseberry is loaded with vitamin C and powerful antioxidant properties which help to protect the skin from free radicals and sun damage. It is anti-inflammatory aiding stressed, inflamed skin; it has astringent properties which help to shrink pores and diminish acne;  and it's conditioning properties help to moisturize and repair the skin barrier.

Hibiscus is the plant kingdom's botox.  It contains naturally occurring AHA's (alpha hydroxy acids) which help to exfoliate the skin and speed cell turnover, which in turn helps reduce acne breakouts and offers younger, fresher, and smoother skin.  AHA's also improve elasticity and flexibility of the skin. The antioxidants in the hibiscus plant are called anthocyanocides.  They protect the skin from free radical damage and contain astringent properties that make pores appear smaller.  Anthocyanocides also have an anti-inflammatory effect that aids skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Lastly, hibiscus boasts a high mucilage content making it moisturizing to the skin.

Green Papaya is high in papain (much higher than a ripe red papaya).  Papain is the enzyme in papaya that is responsible for mild exfoliation, as it eats up dead skin cells speeding skin cell turnover.

Shea Butter is full of benefits for skin at any age but especially for those of us in need of hydration.  It is a quick absorbing moisturizer containing fatty acids that help maintain skin elasticity and collagen production. It heals irritated skin, fades scars from acne and sun burn, helps the skin maintain elasticity and soothes eczema and psoriasis.  Lastly, it is non-comedogenic, meaning it is highly unlikely to clog pores.
