Dreaming our lives into being

Posted by on

Hello Beauties,

My apologies for being MIA for months. We've been knee deep in a dream.

As some of you know, Scott and I have been working on our sanctuary home here in the Central PA mountains since 2020. This place, Skyhouse, is and has been one big beautiful painting dreamed into being by the two of us. She houses pAra and Thornberg and Forester (my husband's design company - which is a phenomenal gift to so many businesses including mine - our logo and packaging is Scott's brainchild) and the two of us and a lot of plant children which assist the local community and the pAra community.

Skyhouse Spring 2026

Skyhouse December 2020

I hope this manifestation story inspires you to speak aloud your heart's wishes and dream into being the life and the world you want to see.  Feeling the immensity of appreciation for the beauty of this land seems to usher in even more beauty. Have you noticed this in your own life?  The more you feel this pulsating excitement of gratitude for something, the more it arrives?

Me and Scott Lovee
When we began looking for a home steeped in nature, we went to our first house showing and it was a "no" on just about every level. Afterward, we sat in our little VW chatting and I said out loud..."I would love to build our home on top of a hill, and have 3 sections to it, one for Thornberg, one for pAra, and one for our living/gathering space in the center. In front of our home will be tall grasses and walkways." And I pictured it a good distance away from cities. I didn't think I was necessarily manifesting in saying this, but I was. Skyhouse showed herself only a few weeks later exactly as I described - minus the full build. It took me a while to realize that this was the place I spoke aloud, but in my gut, upon seeing her, I felt this enormo "YES!"
When we first visited Skyhouse, the views from every direction captured us. But she herself needed everything except a roof after years of neglect and abuse - and we did not realize this upon purchasing her - it was an anxiety ridden surprise to say the least. Thankfully this house was relatively inexpensive and in a low tax rural area.
The first year we lived in physical and emotional discomfort.  Scott really wondered if it was all a mistake and I was trying to hold it all together as "still a good idea". There were spiders biting Scott every night and leaving huge welts on him for weeks at a time, his allergies were kicking hard,  and we were without a proper bathroom for almost 6 months, often showering outside (which was nice sometimes and I stress sometimes) and without proper heating and cooling for a few years. And let me tell you - the hot and the cold here is intense with old worn out windows. We have come a long way from those times.
We spent the last 5 years replacing windows, siding, floors and bathrooms and held off on sorting out our kitchen until this past January.  And somewhere around the 3 year mark, Scott began to love it here and the energy in our house harmonized.
As we entered 2026, we had been living with a "postage stamp" size 1965 galley kitchen in the darkest part of the house.  It was the only space in the house that fully functioned on arrival - and fairly well - despite the lack of counter and cabinet space and roughed up/overused and overpainted factor that stopped the cabinet doors from closing. I might have been able to live with it for the rest of my life, but honestly, it frustrated the crap out of me at times. Piles of stuff mounted on top of the fridge and things boiling out onto the counters running from the kitchen to the other side of the house for a bowl that didn't fit in the cupboards etc. I would take so many steps away to get that bowl that by the time I was halfway to it, I'd often forget what I was even looking for. And to boot, I have a Virgo Moon imprint that craves organization, efficiency and beauty and she was perturbed to say the least.
So, despite that nagging fundamentalist infused voice in my head that said "do you REALLY need a new kitchen??"...and after years of (semi) argumentative discussions about where this kitchen should be and saving our pennies, we began building our new kitchen in the sunniest area of the house in January. It consumed my attention to say the least, thus how I became MIA.  Thankfully the kitchen was (mostly) a joy to create and leaves me in immense gratitude and awe for the beauty bestowed me. I'm still acclimating to living in spaciousness and sunlight (it actually did take a while for my eyes to adjust).  And much of me within is reshaping and rewiring offering expansiveness and possibility. Funny how our external reality echoes the internal or vice versa.

I sometimes wonder, what if I had never said those words aloud, describing the house we would build on the side of the mountain with the tall grasses?

And this leads me to ask you...what are you not saying aloud that you so wish??

In deep reverence of the magic within us all,
