Nenekti Purifying Mask

Mix approx 3/4 tsp of the mask with 1/2 tsp water.  (Add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp of Soma Raw Honey Mask for extra healing and hydration if desired).  Apply a light layer of mask to cleansed skin avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave on for approx 10 minutes, spritzing with water to keep from drying out fully if you wan to preserve more moisture in your skin. Rinse using circular motions to buff away dead skin cells. Follow with the appropriate mist, oil, serum or balm.

• Deep pore purifying mask when blended with water
• Purifying and exfoliating dry powder cleanser for oily problem skin - blend a 1/2 tsp with water and massage over the skin.  Rinse thoroughly. May be combined with Komala Cleanser.
• Spot treatment. Blend a tiny amount of powder with water and leave on the spot over night.
• Combine 1/2 tsp Nenekti with 1/2 tsp Soma Mask for a less drying but still purifying, exfoliating and anti-inflammatory mask for drier skins.

Turmeric 

• helps to reduce and clear acne scars and inflammation while controlling overactive oil glands
• speeds the healing time of wounds and encourages collagen production and tissue regeneration meaning that it's a potent medicinal for repairing skin damage
• prevents the formation of pigmentation caused by radiation, and is useful for brightening the skin.

Zinc 

• anti-inflammatory and helps to repair the skin quickly especially acne flare ups and inflamed skin conditions such as rosacea
• regulates cell production and turnover, and can help reduce overactive sebaceous secretions thus reducing the formation of blackheads and acne
• is a natural astringent, it also helps to reduce the size of large pores 

Green Tea Extract 

• one of the highest sources of antioxidants - delays premature aging, helps to heal damaged cells, and fights free radicals. These antioxidants also inhibit the enzymes that break down collagen and elastin, which are essential for supple youthful skin
• contains catechins that act as antibacterial agents warding off acne
• reduces inflammation of the pores, excess sebum production and offers natural astringency

Cinnamon 

• antiseptic, anti-fungal and antibacterial helping to successfully eliminate acne causing bacteria and helping wounds to heal faster
• cinnamaldehyde, cinnamon’s main chemical component, is able to activate growth factors and improve collagen expression making it helpful in reversing the signs of aging.  It also helps to improve the texture and complexion of the skin

Raw Cocoa 

• can prevent premature aging as well as increase hydration and calm and soothe the skin
• very high polyphenol antioxidants found in cacao are higher than that of green tea, black tea or red wine. They repair skin cells and neutralize harmful free radicals from damaging new skin cells

Marshmallow Root

• contains moisturizing, soothing and cooling properties that help to reduce inflammation
• has low concentrations of ceramide precursors, a natural hydrator which helps to repair the skin barrier
