Barbara Lormelle Porcelain Mask Bowl

Hand crafted of porcelain in Paris, by master potter Barbara Lormelle, these beauties are not your average mask bowl.

Porcelain is the most luxurious of clays and it is also the most difficult to work with. Upon holding one of these bowls, one comes to know the difference between porcelain and usual ceramics.

The surface is very smooth, even when unglazed, and the fineness of the clay used allows for intricate fine details.  It also has a heftier weight than expected for it's size. And, if you strike a porcelain object lightly, it will ring with a clear bell-like sound. In the event you've got slippery hands, porcelain is a highly durable and hard material and will not break or chip easily.

*Each bowl is unique in it's creation and will vary from the picture listed on our website.

Wash with a natural sponge, under hot water with normal dish soap (this goes especially for the golden part).  As much as possible try not to put your bowl in the dishwasher or microwave.
