Key Ingredients

Niacinamide is a derivative of Vitamin B3. It has a wide array of skin benefits backed by scientific evidence. In a study by the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology it is shown to make significant improvements in smoothing wrinkles, reducing age spots, and evening tone and blotchiness while improving skin texture at a 5% concentration (which is the percentage Immortal Serum offers).

Uva Ursi contains arbutin which brightens the skin much to the same degree that hydroquinone does but without any toxicity.  It helps to reduce the appearance of sun damage and age spots and stop them from occurring by deactivating tryosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production.

Hyaluronic Acid helps to preserve characteristics associated with youthful skin: suppleness, elasticity and tone. Hyaluronic Acid is a compound that occurs naturally in every tissue in the human body. As we age, our skin loses hyalyuronic acid which means it loses the ability to hold sufficient water, leading to wrinkles, sagging and bagging.

Resveratrol Our resveratrol is derived from wild-crafted Japanese Knotweed root using ethanol and water. It has been clinically tested to be a very effective anti-oxidant with 95% efficiency in preventing skin cell damage as compared with 37% for Vitamin C or 65% for Vitamin E.  It effective against photoaging due, in part, to its anti-oxidant properties, and is recommended for use in pre- or post-sun exposure products. It can pass through the stratum corneum to be found in the dermis and epidermis. It has been shown to preserve dermal collagen, and may be effective in enhancing glycosaminoglycans, which enhance tissue hydration. It has been shown to stimulate skin’s cellular renewal, and help increase skin’s thickness. And it has been shown to inhibit tyrosinase, which indicates its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation.

Helichrysum helps us with so many ailments that it's been given the name "Immortelle".  Immortelle promotes cell health, encourages the recycling of dead cells, and stimulates the production of new cells, makes the skin smooth, soft and helps it retain moisture.  It is cicatrisant, a property that makes your cuts and scars heal quickly.  It is equally effective in clearing up spots left on your skin by pox, boils, and other skin irregularities. It prevents dehydration and cracking of the skin. It is also antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, and antiallergenic.

Hibiscus is earth derived magic for youthful, smooth and radiant skin.  It is known as the 'botox" of plants increasing hydration and elasticity.  And because it's a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids, which are known to help exfoliate the skin, it also increase the rate of cell turn over and help control breakouts.

Sandalwood oil softens the skin and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It is high in antioxidants which helps reduce damage caused by free radicals; it calms and cools the skin; and is antiseptic meaning that it protects wounds, sores, and pimples from developing infections. The aromatherapeutic properties in sandalwood oil reduce anxiety, fear, stress, and restlessness and induce relaxation, calmness, concentration, inner vision, and positive thoughts.

Supercritical Frankincense is another extremely friendly plant ally. It helps to repair wounds, reduce and fade scars and wrinkles, and promotes skin cell regeneration. An interesting study found that it completely healed and drastically reduced the size basal carcinoma when used in a higher medicinal dosage.*2  (this formula is not intended to prevent or cure any disease)

Chia Seed Oil is considered to be the richest source of omega-3 fatty acids found in nature.  It stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin which help to keep our skin supple and youthful, without drooping. Omega 3's also help to keep the skin hydrated, pulling water from deeper layers of the skin to hydrate top layers, making wrinkles and fine lines less visible.  And, because of it's high content of zinc, it helps to diminish acne. And, since chia seeds are loaded with antioxidants and phytonutrients, it protects the skin from free radical damage associated with pollutants and overexposure to UV rays.

Green Tea:  It works superbly to prevent wrinkles and sagging skin as well as healing hormonal acne.  It's catechins are anti-bacterial against the bacteria that causes acne. And it contains some of the most powerful antioxidants known, warding off premature aging,  healing damaged cells, and fighting free radicals. These antioxidants also inhibit the enzymes that break down collagen and elastin, which are essential supple youthful skin!
Amla Berry is extremely rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant property that helps prevent and repair oxidative skin damage. It helps to shrink pores and battle acne breakouts while conditioning, moisturizing and repairing the skin. Studies have shown that alma berry extract increases collagen production.
